WHY HAVE UNDERFLOOR?
Underfloor heating uses the basic principle of waves of heat rising through the air from the floor area.
Because underfloor heating systems distribute heat more evenly than radiators, they actually use water at a lower heat than a radiator. This ensures that your boiler is working more efficiently.
You also have more wall space as radiators are not required.
There are different types of underfloor heating to cater to your needs.
These include:
- Pipes laid on insulation and encased in a screed which is usually 50mm
- Pipes laid on an insulation board of 25mm. This can be installed in an existing house with minimal height change
- Pipes can be laid with clips, runners or on a concrete type board also
